Last week, I had a meal at Opera Garden and felt quite satisfied when choosing the vegetarian menu here. Opera Garden is one of the best well-known restaurants for modern Vietnamese and French cuisine. Located on Trang Tien street, near the Opera House, the place gives customers such a quiet and calm sense.
The first impression when coming to this restaurant is spacious, airy and elegant. Therefore, this location may be suitable for important occasions. On the menu, the vegetarian dishes here are relatively diverse and beautifully decorated.
Meticulous menu
Opera Garden Restaurant has meticulous modern Vietnamese and vegetarian dishes such as stir-fried noodles “Phở”, grilled eggplant or several types of soup. I have to say that having a vegetarian meal at Opera Garden Restaurant is an art which reflects the traditional and modern lifestyle.
I have a chance to talk with the manager of this restaurant, he told me that the ingredients commonly used by chefs here include popular but still prominent and mildly flavored vegetables such as eggplant, cauliflower, banana flower, tofu, zucchini, mushrooms (shiitake, jasmine, carpentry).
The restaurant situated in the French Quarter, right at the beginning of Trang Tien Street which will be the ideal stop for diners on the way to discover the tradition of Hanoi.
From Opera Garden, it takes only 2 minutes for visitors to reach the Opera House to enjoy traditional interlaced contemporary performances. Besides, tourists can also explore the exquisite Indochine architecture of the theater.
